The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) is accepting applications for the UWGB Online Teaching Fellows program.
This program is for those who wish to deepen their engagement with online instruction. Instructors in this program will explore best practices, align assignments with objectives and learn how to incorporate new ideas and technologies while maintaining a sustainable workload. There is only one track – no more starters and advanced – anyone who teaches may apply for this course.
Expectations for the Online Teaching Fellows:
- Participants will attend four face-to-face sessions that are two hours each over the course of two weeks. (The sessions will run from 9am to 11am on January 8th, 10th, 15th, and 17th).
- Fellows will complete online course work in-between the face-to-face sessions
- Participants will create an online course plan, complete with objectives, activities, and assessments.
- Most importantly, fellows will explore best practices for online teaching and apply them to their course.
Since this program is a professional development opportunity, participants in the Online Teaching Fellows will not receive a stipend.
Deadline: November 16th, 2018
